Going to aunts 

On Sunday I went to my aunts with my family. I was excited because we were going to have dinner there. When we got there dinner was almost ready so we played outside for a little bit. We played bat and ball. After I batted it was dinner time and I dropped the bat and ran inside. My cousin ran in front of me. Then my other cousin got in front of me. We had to sit on the floor because there were too many kids on the table. There was a sphere set but we were not allowed to sit on it because we were going to spill food on it. After we had dinner we did the disher we played on the Playstation for 20 minutes then I went to check the time it was 8 o'clock. After that I went to my cousins rome 

He was watching Naruto for a while. After a while we had to go home when we got out of the we started to froze  when we got inside we all ran to our romes and grabbed a blacit we sat in the lange we could not even keep our eyes open then dad walked into the lange to see if any of us were awake only I was a wake. Then he sent me to bed when I got up there the cat was sleeping. I got my blackit and pelo and slet on the marches on the floor . it was an Amazing day

Camping

On Sunday me and my family went camping. As soon as we got there my dad and my brother ran down to the beach.

 

My mum set up the kitchen while me and my sisterś set up the camp.  It started to get dark.

My dad came back with five fish. He caught two fish and my brother caught three fish. My mum put them on the smoker for 20 minutes. The fish was cooked. We had one fish suddenly a bunch off mosquitoes came. We ran in the tents. The boys were in one tent and the girls were in the other tent. The mosquitoes surrounded the tent then lots of wind came from over the hills. Then all the mosquitoes were swept away. When we went out the smoker was tipped over. My brother walked over to the smoker and picked it up. Then my mum went into her tent and came out with marshmallows. Next she made a small fire and we went to get some sticks and came back and put them in the fire. We were lucky because there were six little sticks. We put our marshmallows on the sticks and on the fire we waited for a couple of minutes and then our marshmallows were very nicely toasted.They were yum.

It was a very cool time with our whanau. I really enjoyed it.

why is the water cycle important to the earth

 WALT use the correct structure and language for explain writing.

The water cycle

The water cycle is a path that moves water around the Earth. Water goes nowhere but round and round earth. It does not leave earth. It follows the water cycle path. The water cycle has no start or end.

The water changes in the water cycle. When the sun heats up the water in rivers and oceans, the water changes to water vapour. That's evaporation.

Then the water vapour goes up and makes clouds. That's condensation. Then the water vapour changes back to liquid water and falls back to the ground. That's precipitation. 

Why is the water cycle important to the earth?

The water cycle is important to earth because there would be no life on earth if there was no water cycle. We have a healthy planet because the water moves around the earth in a cycle. The water cycle helps to make the water clean and safe to drink so then everything is healthy.

So that's why the water cycle is important to the earth.

My Writing Sample-Term 1 2021

 Horses riding.

On Sunday afternoon me and my family. First we took the  horse to the beach. The horses loved the beach. The one I was riding jumped in the air. I had fun on the horses After that Dad and I went to get some hot chips and drinks. We waited for the hot chips. We went back and then us kids had a swim in water. When I got out of the water the chips and drinks were ready to eat when we were done there were no more to eat it was yummy  then a dog chase us we got in the car we then we realised they were not after us they were after  horse we saved them later on we went home  Finally  

Ideas	I have many ideas on the topic with little information
Structure Language	I can use some of the correct pats/structure for my writing AND I Can use some of the right words for the type of writing.
Organistion	I try to put my ideas in order.
Vocabulary	I can write lot of simple words and some extra words to add detail.
Sentence Structure	I am beginning to  write sentences of different lengths I am beginning to use different types of sentences.
Punctuation	I sometimes use capital letters and full stop in the correctly. I use some other punctuation correctly.
Spelling	I can spell a few words correctly. I write down the sounds I hear in a word

Recount Writing-Whaea Diane's Visit.

 Whaea Diane’s Visit .

Yesterday Whaea Diane visited our classroom and talked 

to us about Maths. First she showed us a 120 board.                                                              We used it to count in tens. 

After that Whaea Diane chose different people to choose a number for her. She also videoed us on an ipad. She told us that maths is important.

Next she told people to skip count in 10s. 

Then she put us in groups of 5. Later on when the bell went we all ran out but we forgot to mihi to Whaea Diane. I loved learning maths with Whaea Diane. I enjoyed it.

Recount Writing-At the Farm

 When I went  to a Farm

On Friday me and my mum went to a farm. 

We had a run over the hill. We saw a lake with

frogs. My mum does not like frogs because they

are slimy. She ran to the car so fast I came running.

After that we went to my nan's for soup. The soup was yummy.

We stayed for a little while we fell asleep. When we got up, we went straight home. 

On our way back home we broke down. Mum tried to call my dad but she forgot her phone so we had to run all the way back to nan's house to use her phone. We got there in the end and we finally called dad. He came and picked us up and

we got home safely.

Recount Writing-Camping

Camping

On Sunday me and my family went camping at Spirit’s Bay.

First we set up the tent at the camp.

My dad and I looked around the place. I saw a lake. We walked around the lake. We found a beach. We went back to camp.

Then we told them everything. Everyone said, “Wow.” 

My Mum was cooking our dinner. It smelt yummy.

She was cooking fried bread. We went swimming at the lake. At first my brother did not want to get in. It started to get hot but still he did not want to get in. Finally he got in.

But as soon as he got in we had to get back to camp. But my brother was allowed to swim back. When we got back the fried bread was ready for dinner. We cut up

cheese and tomato. Some people gave

us some smoked fish and crayfish but the crayfish was not cooked. We ate it all up. There were only crumbs left. we did deshis and went to bed. It was an amazing day.
